Emergency Dentist Serving Cornelius, NC.

About 14 minutes from Cornelius to 252 W McLelland Ave, Mooresville, NC 28115

A short hop up I-77 from Cornelius — prompt care for knocked-out teeth, severe toothache, broken teeth, and dental abscesses. Same-day appointments often available.

Cornelius and Lake Norman go together in most people's minds. So does Cornelius and "my dentist is in Charlotte." That second one used to make more sense when there wasn't a full-service practice this far north. It makes a lot less sense now.

Our office in Mooresville is about fourteen minutes from most parts of Cornelius — closer than the drive to many of the dental offices on West Catawba Avenue once you factor in lights. And in an emergency, that's the difference between getting seen and waiting until Monday.

Lake life is great. Lake-area emergencies are no fun.

We hear a lot of lake stories in this office — a kid jumping off a dock and catching a tooth on the way down, a paddleboard collision, a chipped front tooth from biting into a frozen popsicle on a hundred-degree day. Lake Norman is wonderful, and it generates its own little catalog of dental mishaps.

What we've learned: most of these are fixable with same-day care if we hear from you quickly. Knocked-out teeth, in particular, are time-sensitive — store the tooth in milk and head north.

What we treat

The full range of dental emergencies, under one roof.

Severe toothache, knocked-out tooth, broken or cracked tooth, lost crown or filling, dental abscess, soft-tissue injuries, wisdom-tooth flare-ups, and pediatric emergencies — all handled in our office. For the full breakdown of each situation and step-by-step first aid, see our emergency dentistry pillar page.

Same-visit relief

Most emergencies are stabilized in a single visit — re-implantation, root canal initiation, crown re-cement, temporary repair, or extraction.

3D imaging on site

CBCT and digital sensors let us see fractures and infections that conventional x-rays miss — critical when time matters.

Bilingual team

English and Spanish. We can verify benefits and walk you through cost estimates in either language before treatment begins.

Why us

Why families in Cornelius call us instead of driving south.

There's a real Lake Norman dentistry community now, and we're proud to be part of it. We see a lot of families who live in Cornelius and used to commute into Charlotte for everything — and we hear the same thing repeatedly: "I had no idea there was a dentist this good this close to home."

Practically: we handle emergency exams, x-rays, root canals, crowns, extractions, and re-implantation in our office. We're bilingual. We accept most insurance plans, including the ones common among Lake Norman families who work in the Davidson / Huntersville / Charlotte corridor.
